What You Bring to the Y
- You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 7 years of progressive responsibility in accounting and financial management, including staff management
- CPA required
- Possess strong knowledge and understanding of accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including generally accepted accounting principles, financial and accounting reporting systems, and federal and state financial regulations. Additionally, you have expertise in general business matters, including budget development, financial reporting, cash management, business taxes, banking, and debt financing instruments.
- Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
- Knowledge of industry regulatory standards and compliance requirements and YMCA policies and procedures.
- Strong strategic management and planning skills; strong communication skills needed to interface with a variety of stakeholders; ability to use own judgment and initiative in problem resolution.
- Proven leadership ability with experience in team management and collaboration.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
