The Temporary Accountant plays a vital role in the Business Office by providing interim support to ensure the continuity of essential accounting functions during a staff member's absence. This position assists in managing the School’s fundraising and endowment funds to ensure accurate recording of transactions. Reporting directly to the Controller, the Temporary Accountant will perform essential accounting tasks, including general ledger analysis, transaction reviews, journal entries, and account reconciliations. In addition, this role generates special reports as needed and will assist with year-end audit activities and preparing the 990 tax return.
